During fall and winter plaid is and will always be the most worn pattern. No matter if it’s a more trendy version, a colorful one or a more subtle and classy one. You definitely can’t go wrong with plaid.
To be more conscious when buying something new I would rather go for a more classic piece that you can style multiple ways over many years. Like these plaid pants I’m wearing. Although they are more old fashioned, I styled them with some colorful modern pieces to give them a new look.
