Let’s talk about fashion trends and conscious fashion behavior. Pieces with feather hem details are a big trend at the moment. And believe me I love them all. It just makes every boring outfit look chic and sophisticated. But is it really worth buying one of these pieces? How long will this trend last?

Last year for example all these adorable faux fur hem pieces were in style and I definitely felt tempted to buy one. But I stayed strong 😉 Turns out I did not regret not buying one and by now I probably wouldn’t even wear it anymore.

But now to the fun part: The feather hem trend made me do fashion DIYs again. I bought some feather boas and created some feather cuffs, that I can wear with any blazer or blouse (click here to see another look). I even pinned some feather parts onto some jeans and other pants (click here to see another look). So so cute, right?!

I loved this idea so much. This way I didn’t have to buy a whole top or blouse and I’m more flexible with integrating feather hem details into my looks.
