Sometimes when you don’t find the perfect accessories – you simply have to make them yourself. So I wanted a simple bag, which goes with almost any outfit. Lucky me, I still had an old pair of jeans from my husband that I don’t wear. Another benefit was that I wanted to cut them anyway as I needed some new denim shorts. 🙂

Long story short – I cut the pair of jeans and used one of the legs as fabric for the bag. I double layered the bag and put some cartons (wrapped with tape) in between the fabrics, so the clutch will be more stable and waterproof. 😉 By the way it took me a few days to sew the bag as my sewing machine broke down… I cut two small holes on each side of the bag, so I could change the clutch into a shoulder bag by adding a strap to the bag. After I finished all the sewing for the bag, I had to add some nice details to it and created this cute pompon keychain. I picked a simple grey and some popping red wool for the pompons.

I have to tell you I am totally in love with my new denim pompon bag. The best thing about it is that it goes with a lot of my outfits and it always adds some color and individuality to every style. 😉 This time I wore a red flower dress with it. I got the dress a while ago, so you won’t be able to find it online, but I found some other similar flower dresses for you which are just as cute – like this one and this one. I combined my espadrilles with it, which I bought a while ago on a Spanish farmer’s market.
