Gingham Dress
I think this second day of our trip was pretty much a perfect vacation day. When we woke up and opened the window the sun was already pretty strong. And I was happy to be able to wear my backless gingham dress, which I love so much.
After we got up, we took a little morning walk through Colmar and found a cute cafe next to the beautiful cathedral in the morning sun. We ordered coffee, tea and some delicious croissants and were ready to start our day.
We drove to Husseren-les-Châteaux to experience the French vineyards and met a wine-grower there, who let us try some of his amazing wines. After a long and nice stroll through another beautiful village we had a long lunch and headed to Kaysersberg and later on to Riquewihr, where we took a break from walking. There we grabbed some beverages and bought yummy macarons (of course 😉 ). So it was pretty much eating and walking through gorgeous, old French towns.
I got this backless gingham dress (which looks very French in my eyes 😉 ) last summer and it immediately became one of my favorite summer dresses. The cutest part of it is the ruching in the back. To finish the look up I combined it with these cute and super comfy Zara sandals and my color blocked bag, which I got in Paris a few months ago.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend and thank u soo much for reading!
