5 Last Minute Halloween Costumes
I created 5 last minute Halloween costumes for you. I picked out 5 characters, that almost everybody knows and recreated their look. The best part is that you won’t need to buy anything new, since you probably have everything you need already in your closet.
The customs are pretty versatile, so I think there’s something for everyone here!
Let’s start with Margot Tenenbaum:
Outfit Details: Teddy Coat (similar here), Striped Dress (similar here), Vintage MCM Bag (similar here), Loafers (similar here), Hair Clip (similar here)
This is probably the easiest of all Halloween costumes I ever did. Side part your hair and straighten it. To get the extra Margot look you simply put in a hair clip. Make-up-wise: There’s not enough black eye shadow! 😉
Wear a striped dress, some loafers or other simple flats, a classy purse bag and of course a faux fur coat. Done!
Next up, Mary Poppins:
Outfit Details: Hat (similar here), Long Skirt (similar here), White Blouse (similar here), Jacket (similar here), Big Bag (similar here), White Gloves (similar here), Umbrella (similar here), Heels (similar here)
This is a more advanced costume, since it needs a bit more fine tuning. The most important details are some flowers on the hat, a red bow, a big purse and of course an umbrella and the magic can begin!
The next costume is Coco Chanel:
Outfit Details: Striped Shirt (similar here), Wide Pants (similar here), Pearl Necklet (similar here), Straw Hat (similar here), Ballet Flats (similar here)
Wide pants and striped tee are the basics. Simple, but never ever forget the pearls! Of course you could also simply wear a pencil skirt and a boxy-shaped blazer. But I wanted to wear some pants and a straw hat, since these were her first fashion „revolutions“ to show woman, that they don’t need to dress conspicuous (anymore).
Another female icon Frida Kahlo:
Outfit Details: Floral Skirt (similar here), Red Blouse (similar here), Bodice (similar here), Floral Scarf (similar here), Flower Crown (similar here), Necklace (similar here)
This is also a more advanced costume. Make sure you add some color and lots of flowers and big, colorful jewelry. The most important part of this styling are the eyebrows – so don’t go shy! 😉
Last but not least Wednesday Addams:
Outfit Details: White Shirt (similar here), Black Dress (similar here), Shiny Boots (similar here)
A more common Halloween costume, but I couldn’t leave her out. If your hair color is actually a little too light for this look (like mine), but you don’t want to color them, just make them wet before you do the braids and add hairspray afterwards. They stay more straight and seem a bit more dark.
What else is there to say? Pale skin, black dress and a shirt underneath and you’re pretty much good to go!
