At the moment I am really into layering my outfits. On the one hand it’s just super convenient since you stay warmer the more layers you wear and on the other hand I just totally love the look of a layered outfit. It just seems like you put more effort in your style as you have to choose different pieces which go well together. I think it looks a little bit more subtle and sophisticated. So eventual every single layer is relevant for the right winter outfit.

In the past few weeks I was doing a lot of thinking – about people, the choices they make and their reactions to various things. I noticed how everyone of us has different layers, which build our character and personality.

Our first layer is the foundation – how we were raised and which values were passed on to us. So in the most ideal case, this base makes us a stable and secure person like our shoes in which we walk. The next layer is the one which touches our skin and with cloths it’s preferably something soft and tender. But when it’s getting rough and cold outside it’s the layer we usually don’t show everybody as we cover it with something more solid. So the third and last layer is there to protect us from cold weather or difficult situations.

Sometimes it’s hard to know when to take the last layer off and when to put it on, but with the right people around you it is definitely easier. I am very grateful to have a loving and supporting family!

In case you want to recreate this look – I found this really cozy oversized sweater. For the layer underneath this flowy dress is just perfect just as this silky dress. I love how the destroyed jeans give the outfit a rebellious touch – these and these are pretty similar to my jeans. At the moment I love burgundy accessories and these brogues are just perfect for fall and winter. I also found really cute bags with lots of fringes for you – like this taupe one, this one from Pepe Jeans in a cognac shade and this burgundy one. Oh, and last but not least these Ray-Ban sunglasses – love them!
