I love to combine old pieces with new ones. Especially when discovering items in my closet, which I already own a few decades and they are suddenly back in fashion. Today’s look for example… I got these really cute paperbag shorts last summer and dug out my old tube top, that I have for about twenty years now.

When arranging an outfit I obviously always start with a key-piece (in this look it was the paperbag shorts). At first I wanted to pick a white top, but it didn’t match with the off-white shorts. The best way to make sure pieces go along with each other is always to try them on. That way you can easily see if shape, length or color harmonize. When I choose accessories for an outfit, I always make sure they either accentuate the key pieces or they built a transition. That’s why I love this transparent bag so much during summer. The translucent material gives the purse this airy and light vibe and the black inside bag makes it easy to style a darker, but still summery look.
