Paris Day I
Bienvenue à Paris! We spent the last weekend in Paris and it was just beautiful!!! We arrived Friday at noon and explored the neighborhood around the hotel by foot. There was a great restaurant called La Verre Volé, where we had lunch. The menu included a girasole soup for starters, which was just heaven. For the main course I had delicious mussels and of course not to forget the french cheese at the end, which is always a good choice.
I really enjoyed walking around this beautiful city since there was one beautiful building after another. After all the stories I heard, I was very happy and relieved to notice that most of the French understand English… especially since my school French is all gone.
I brought my red béret with me, which was totally by accident and not planned at all 😉 Haha! To be honest I actually thought I wouldn’t really be able to wear it as the weather was supposed to be really warm, but there was a pretty cold wind that day. So at the end I was very glad that I packed it. I love stripes and I liked to mix these two together.
