During our time in Italy we tried to avoid touristic areas. We spent one evening in Lazise and it was just too crowded for our taste. If you need a few tips where to go: I can definitely recommend Punta San Vigilio (so dreamy and romantic) and Pieve Di San Giorgio Di Valpolicella (today’s post). 

On the way to the authentic, old village you take a short walk up the hill and you will have a breathtaking view over Lago di Garda. Locals are sitting together having a drink before dinner. It’s such a great and relaxed atmosphere up there, far away from the touristic whirl down in Bardolino or Lazise.
