As promised, I worked on this tassel earrings diy for you. Since tassels are the perfect way to pimp your outfit during summer and it’s so easy to make them, I thought this would be an interesting post for all you fashion girls.

First you take a yarn and wind it around your fingers. This is when you define the length of your tassel.

Cut a piece of yarn, pull it through the space where your fingers were and tie a double knot. Then cut the slings altogether.

Cut another string, put it around all the tassel strings (just leave one out) and tie another double knot around them. If you just want one tassel, you would be done now.

For these tassel earrings you need to make six tassels, which slightly differ in size. Two small ones, two middle ones and two big ones.

Cut the ends of the tassel, so all strings have the same length and look neat.

Thread a needle at one of the big tassels.

Evenly separate all the strings of one of the middle sized tassels, so you can see the middle.

Phase the big tassel into the middle sized tassel.

Tie a double or triple (better safe than sorry) knot into the ends of both tassels’ strings. Cut the shorter end of both strings and thread a needle at the longer one. Then phase the two tassels into the smallest tassel and tie a knot again.

Thread the earring lock (not sure if this is the right term for it) and tie a really tight double knot.

After cutting the ends I fix them with glue, so it won’t come undone. And you’re done!!!
