This summer we were able to visit a few of the beautiful lakes that surround Munich. We drove to the Starnberger See with friends, went for a hike and a dip into the Caribbean-like Walchensee, stroll around the Steinsee (which is a small lake close to where I grew up) and a couple of days ago we decided to do a Tegernsee boating day.

We took a small boat for ourselves and even jumped out of it to swim a little. Climbing back into the boat was a tricky thing, since we were in the middle of the lake and the boat didn’t have a ladder. My father saved me and pulled me back into the boat. Haha! 🙂
