To call a slip dress a winter slip dress may seem a bit bold, I know. So let me explain: Obviously a slip dress is way too cold to wear in winter, but I wanted to show you how I style dresses like this during the cold season.

My dress actually is a more elegant summer dress and looks almost exactly like the ones I’ve linked you. Clearly you have to add some layers to make this outfit work for winter. I would either style slip dresses with a turtleneck underneath or I’d add a chunky and warm sweater on top.

I like that it looks like I’m wearing a maxi skirt, but I am actually wearing a dress which keeps me even warmer. Oh, and just fyi maxi skirts are super stylish at the moment… 😉
