Kids’ Home Activities
After my last post about my daily routine, I wanted to create a similar one for all the mamas and papas out there, who don’t know how to entertain their kids 24/7. Now that they are at home the whole day.
First of all I want to say, take it as an opportunity to spend more time with your kids. It always depends on your view on a situation.
Here are a few ideas for some home activities you can do with your kids (besides the obvious like playing games / with toys and reading books):
- Watch something grow together. Plant a seed or cut some branches and watch the leaves come out.
- Bake or cook together.
- Do handicrafts. There are so many cute ideas on Pinterest with stuff you probably already have at home. Don’t forget Easter is around the corner. The other day we were making Easter bunnies out of egg cartons for example.
- Draw something. I plan on drawing a cute picture with our little one and then cutting it into a puzzle.
- Sew outfits for teddies or dolls out of old clothes. (Again) Pinterest is a cute address for easy instructions.
Last but not least it’s all about doing something together. Kids want to get involved in things you do. To give an example we clean up the apartment together. Our girl really loves to help me hang the laundry.
I hope this post may help to relieve the boredom! 😉 If you have more ideas, please let us know in the comments. Don’t hesitate to check out my Insta account for daily inspiration and good mood! <3
