Russian Winter
Lately I was thinking about our expectations and wishes. How we often want things to be perfect instead of enjoying what we have. Most of us (including me) wish for a Russian winter during the holiday season – we want everything covered in snow right on time for Christmas. In the past years the heavy snow came after New Year’s Eve and everybody was complaining about it, as there’s no use for it anymore.
This year we didn’t have a white Christmas (again) and I thought I am not gonna whine about it and will appreciate the beauty of the Christmas time by itself and simply enjoy the snow whenever it’s here. 🙂 There is no use for being picky – we should take life as it comes and focus on the beauty of it.
Since it’s still cold I could wear my Russian winter outfit anyway and I really hope you like it. Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my blog!
