Sunflower Fields
Last weekend I stayed at my parents’ house in the countryside. We went for a walk and enjoyed the beauty of nature. I have to admit I am always a little sad, when I recognize that the freshness of summer is slowly getting banned by late summer and autumn is looming. Still, I love this time of year when corn is growing and sunflower fields are blooming – it always feels like everything is getting a little slower and leisurely.
My mother and I also went for a little shopping tour to get a baby jacket for the upcoming cooler days. I couldn’t quite get why it’s so hard to find something in between a light summer cardigan and a snowsuit for little girls… But anyway at the end we were excited that we at least found something that slightly met our idea of a cute jacket (despite the fact that nearly everything in this size looks cute 😉 ).
By the way I ordered this floral dress I’m wearing earlier in July at H&M. Unfortunately their exchanges can take quite a while, so I received the dress just now. When I tried it on I didn’t expect the dress to still fit, since my belly underwent a big growth… 🙂 Regardless the dress still fit, but I noticed that the length of the dress was no longer appropriate in public, so I decided to simply wear it as a top – a girl has to be flexible! 😉
Have a beautiful weekend!!!
